2018 will be a year of celebrations for Julia and Ian
A special birthday for Julia and friends born in 1948 and 10th wedding anniversary for Ian and Julia

Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May (Whitsun) Camping (or stay nearby and join us for songs round the camp fire etc*) on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border We've booked the whole site at the Farm on the hill for up to 30 people on these two nights We've also booked the Copse on this site for up to 10 people for the nights of Friday 25th and Monday 28th May Just email firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to be included in the "2018 Campers" email list and I'll keep you informed about prices, booking deadlines, travel and catering plans, who's coming, what to bring etc.
* You're also welcome to join us for some of the time while enjoying the comfort of the B&B or the self catering cottage on the same farm, but you'll need to book these early. Let me know if you'd like to be hooked up with others to share the cottage. Otherwise, just go ahead and book.
Sunday 17th June 2pm til late: Julia’s birthday tea with “7 decades of song” Singalong in the Garden Room at Vestry House Museum, E17 followed by evening event to be decided.
Late July to mid-October: We are taking the train to China and then South to Singapore from where we'll fly to Western Australia to celebrate granddaughter Sophie's 21st birthday and the wedding of daughter/step-daughter Jane Maclean and her partner in life and song, Neil Steward. Currently seeking travel tips and Mandarin lessons . I've started a blog to record our plans as we develop them.
